A two storey house in Healesville burst into flames on Tuesday 10 October.

10 fire trucks and about 30 firefighters from different CFA branches were called to the address on Cornelius Crescent at around 3pm, with the scene deemed safe at 5.26pm.

CFA District 13 Commander Andrew Booth said the cause of the fire was unknown.

“We’re not quite sure the cause yet, we’ve got fire investigators coming,” he said.

The flames went up a two storey timber dwelling.

All family members were out of the house with two dogs missing.

“We don’t know whether the dogs were in the house or not,” Mr Booth said.
