Provitcult leads the Healesville bowls corporate challenge

Weather doesn't dampen the Corporate Challenge

By Ian Milgate

Wednesday night saw the second week of the Charles Hort Memorial trophy, Corporate Challenge in cold and drizzly conditions, but this didn’t dampen the spirits of the competitors.

They rugged up, got a few BBQ snags into them and a warming refreshment as they honed their skills and put a few good bowls down while enjoying the banter and laughter between each other across all the rinks.

At the end of the night after a great game, Provitcult is the leader on 38 followed by Above Board Plaster who have come up from third last week to second place on 36 and Australian Hot Taps are third also on 36.

I believe the weather is going to be fine and warm for next Wednesday night so it should be another great nights entertainment.

If you are doing nothing come on down, grab a snag and a drink and watch the match.
