Keys to a great concert

INTERNATIONAL music star Alicia Keys has recently been announced as the headline act of a December show at Rochford Winery’s A Day on the Green concert series.
The Grammy Award-winning artist was announced for the summer concert season on 8 September and will be performing with special guest John Legend on Saturday 7 December.
The pair will be performing with a yet-to-be-announced opening act at the Healesville winery, and tickets are set to go on sale on Friday 20 September.
Ms Key’s Australian shows will mark the final leg to her Set the World on Fire world tour which coincides with her latest album, Girl on Fire.
Her guest, John Legend, recently released his fourth studio album, Love in the Future, and both will be performing the hits that helped carry them to fame over the years.
Tickets for the show, which range from $125 plus booking fee for general admission to $299 plus booking fee for platinum packages, are expected to sell quickly.
A Day on the Green has played host to numerous musical heavyweights in the past, and artists such as Bernard Fanning, Fleetwood Mac and Leonard Cohen will be performing over the summer concert season.
The A Day on the Green concert will be fully licensed, though bringing in outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Food will be available on site, though visitors are welcome to bring picnic supplies.
General admission audience members are encouraged to bring their own chairs or rugs for the concert.
Gates to the Alicia Keys A Day on the Green performance will open at 4.30pm, with the opening performance beginning at 5.30pm and the concert winding to a close at approximately 10pm.
