Carols on call

Coldstream: Coldstream Christian Fellowship will hold a carols service on Sunday 22, December at the Coldstream Community Centre starting at 7.30pm. Carols will be led by the Coldstream Christian Fellowship Choir and Band singing traditional Christmas hymns, carols and Christmas songs. Contact: 9736 4447.

Healesville: Healesville Sanctuary will host the Carols by Candlelight event on Saturday 14 December, which will run from 6-10pm. Santa will be making a special appearance and kids’ activities such as a jumping castle and face-painting will be available. Barbecue food and hot and cold drinks will be available, along with candles and glow-sticks for the service. All welcome.

Marysville: The Anglican Parish of Marysville and Buxton will be holding a carols service on Sunday 15 December from 7pm-9pm. The Alexandra Brass Band will be performing, along with children from a local preschool. Treasure hunts and Christmas hymns will both be present. All are welcome. Seville: Local community groups, schools and churches will be part of a combined Anglican, Uniting and Baptist churches community carols at the Seville Water Park on Sunday, 15 December starting at 6.30pm. Food will be available from 6pm.

Wandin: Wandin Baptist Church on the corner of Warburton Highway and Clegg Road is holding a family carol service on Sunday 22 December at 7pm. Everybody welcome.

Warburton/Warburton Highway: River Valley Church and Warburton Advancement League are hosting this event at Warburton Recreation Reserve on Saturday 21 December. Pre-carol activities, including a visit by Santa, start at 7pm with carols starting at 8.15pm. Take along a picnic dinner, or take the night off and take advantage of the food stalls. Yarra Glen: Yarra Glen’s Christmas Carols event will be held in McKenzie Reserve from 6pm until 9.30pm on Sunday 15 December. A band from Ringwood’s Empower Church will be performing at the show, along with residents from the area. Yarra Junction: The Anglican Church in Yarra Junction, opposite the Yarra Centre, will have a carols and Christmas story reading at All Saints Yarra Junction on Sunday, 22 December at 6pm followed by a barbecue. All welcome.
