A REPLICA Mad Max car made a tasty debut on a new bogan film in the Yarra Valley.
Those who have seen the bogan-talking, pizza-loving television series Fat Pizza or Housos will be in for a treat.
A music video Fat Pizza for the film Fat Pizza vs. Housos was shot outside takeaway shops in Launching Place last week.
Hoodles creek man Peter Axford’s pride and joy made its film debut and he said the location was ideal to film the video.
“The pizza shop had a great amount of space and brought the crew to the Yarra Valley,” he said.
His black Falcon XB coupe has made numerous visits to the popular Wandin Car Show to display its beauty and always draws a crowd.
Accompanying the coupe was Point Cook resident Peter Robinson’s Ford Falcon XB Sedan, also a replica of the initial police car in Mad Max.
Lead singer of the band Heaven the Axe, Phoebe Pinnock said the Yarra Valley was the perfect location for the video.
“The cars looked fantastic and the pizza shop had the perfect look we wanted,” Ms Pinnock said.
“We would like to thank Freda Dalakouras from the pizza shop for letting us use the facilities,”
“Her pizzas were amazing, too.”
The band had previously created the music theme video for the television show Bogan Hunters.
The film will hit the big screen on 27 November.
