POLICE are searching for information after a Yellingbo house was broken into and ransacked last week.
Yarra Ranges Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) Detective Sergeant Mark Smithwick said that between 1pm on Sunday 7 June and 8am the next day, unknown persons forced a sliding door and ransacked a house on Macclesfield Road in Yellingbo.
Computers and jewellery were taken from the house, with an estimated value of $2500.

Theft, damage charges
A TEENAGER has been remanded in custody after being arrested for criminal damage and theft last week.
Yarra Ranges Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) Detective Sergeant Mark Smithwick said the 18-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday 9 June in relation to multiple criminal damage and theft incidents in the Lilydale area.
Det Sgt Smithwick said the man was remanded in custody and will appear in court at a later date.
