THREE of Healesville’s proud workers were acknowledged by the Rotary Club of Healesville earlier this month, when the group handed out its Pride of Workmanship Awards.

The Rotary Club handed out its awards to Sara Daniels and the Mail’s own Jesse Graham, and a certificate of appreciation to Pam Druitt at Sanctuary House Resort Motel on Thursday, 15 October.

Ms Druitt received her certificate to mark 50 years of “outstanding service and personal committment” working as a pharmacy assistant in Healesville, while Ms Daniels was acknowledged for her “outstanding customer service and horticultural advice“ at the Black Spur Nursery and Florist.

Mr Graham received his award for “providing a voice for the community“ through the Mail News Group.

The awards were handed out by Rotarian, John Robinson, who praised each of the receipients before they in turn gave a short acceptance speech.
