YARRA RANGES ATHLETICS
A MASSIVE turnout of athletes for this week’s round of Yarra Ranges Athletics cross country took to the rolling grasslands of Margaret Lewis Reserve in Coldstream.
Despite the challenging course, there were plenty of personal bests (PBs) especially from the younger athletes – a great sign as we head into school cross country championships.

The club also hosted its annual Lillydale Lake “But not as you know it” Fun Run on Sunday and the near perfect conditions saw some excellent fields and some very enthusiastic athletes take on some of the lesser known sections of Lillydale Lake.
Hospital Hill continues to be the talking point. Well done to all finishers and thanks to the huge number of helpers before, during and after the event. Results are available on the club website.
Next week the seniors compete in round 2 of XCR16 at Cruden Farm while the Saturday morning cross country will be at a Morrison Reserve, Mount Evelyn.
