Police called after man’s erratic run

MOOROOLBARK police located a disorientated man, aged 23, running through the main street of Lilydale, about 5.30pm on Wednesday 5 October.
Police observed the man, who they believe is of no fixed address, running down John Street in Lilydale, towards Anderson Street.
About five calls were made to police regarding the actions of the man after he was seen near Lilydale Lake, Maroondah Highway, John Street and Anderson Street.
Mooroolbark police told the Mail they believed the man may have been drug-affected and was in “some sort of state of psychosis”.
An ambulance was called, with the man taken to Maroondah Hospital.
Police investigations will continue, though no charges have been laid.
