Relay teams hit the road

YARRA RANGES ATHLETICS
Yarra Ranges Athletics Club joined other athletics clubs and Little Athletics clubs from around Victoria at Sandown Park for the Victorian Road Relay Championships.
This is one of the few opportunities for our club to compete as a whole with Athletics Victoria and Little Athletics Victoria holding championship events at the same time and same venue.
A lot of fun was had by all athletes and supporters on the windy – sometimes wet – motor racing circuit.
The best result of the day was from the Women’s Under 14s team of Indi Linde, Mia Strudley and Maddie Laven who finished a close second in the 3 x 3.1k relay.

Next week, the club is at Morrison Reserve for the Club Cross Country Championships, first event starts at 9am.
The seniors will be competing in 3km and 10km road races at Albert Park on Sunday.
